Ape History
The Piaggo Ape (A H - P A Y) has been in production for over 70 years in Pontedera, Italy near the historic leaning tower of Pisa. The Ape was invented after World War II, when the infrastructure of Italy was under re-construction.
Because the Ape could easily travel the narrow streets of the towns and villages, these little vehicles became known as “little work horses”.
Our little work horse has a whole new way of doing business.
